Holidays 2012

Well we are wrapping uo the holiday season! It was our first Christmas with Miss Paisley, CPC and our new house. First item on the list was putting lights up on our house. Matt talks about his big dreams for our Christmas display but this year was definitely bare minimum. We waited too long apparently to go purchase lights and clips because the selections were slim pickings. These are a few snapshots of the day we set up lights. Paisley enjoys sitting out in the garage with us!

She loves to latch onto faces. No matter how short her nails are she can still dig in.

Christmas Eve was spent at my grandparents. My favorite Christmas memories are listening to my grandfather read The Night Before Christmas as we all anxiously wait to open our one gift for the evening. It is important to select wisely! I look forward to passing this tradition on to P.

Before our first CPC Christmas Eve Service

So Hunter made a Christmas card for the family. It has a picture of him on the front and a quote inside. My brother put the card in the middle of the dining room table to make it look like Hunter was with us. Weird. So I decided we should take a sibling photo with "Hunter". My mother was the photographer... not the greatest pictures. You can even seen Christian my nephew who was "ducking" to not be in the picture. My mom has a lot to learn about photography and the zoom button.

Paisley opening gifts with her daddy on Christmas morning. She actually enjoyed ripping the paper off. She is so precious :) And Matt is such a wonderful Daddy.

Merry Christmas from the Riedels!

Happy Happy Happy

Life has been so happy happy happy! (Yes we watch too much Duck Dynasty) My little girl is growing up so fast! I completely missed taking 5 month pictures due to the move. Boo. But she is super precious for her 6 month photo shoot!
Isn't she happy!
I feel like she just discovered the puzzle says her name. I know thats not why she is making this face but its perfect for the moment!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

She absolutely loves to stare at the tree and pet it. Not grab just pet the tree...

Ok now she wants to eat the ornaments.

And last but not least I did some crafting this weekend. I'm obsessed with how it turned out. Love it!

I covered the bar stool seats. I also painted out dining room table black and the stools black/turquoise. And then to help the living room has some similar color I put turquoise on the bottom of our media stand. Now to just start putting things on the wall... I'm just so overwhelmed with all of the wall space I don't know where to begin. But its a start!

4 Months & Turning Over into a New Journey

Paisley was 4 months old on Sept. 29! EEK! My apologies for not getting to this all closer to that date but life has been a bit hectic. But we will get to that after the cuteness that is Miss P!

Isn't she ADORABLE!
Love that SMILE. She already knows how to use it to her advantage.

I cannot believe it has been 4 months. Absolutely insane.

Paisley loves tulle... and Sophie. Its a great life when those are your indulgences.

I couldn't resist the leopard leg warmers. We have a ton more to play with once it gets cooler. This month P has learned to roll over... and over... and over. Sometimes I find her in some interesting locations. She is going to start teething at any moment. She is 13lbs 5oz. She is 50% in height and weight. Such an average but perfect baby. (I know all moms think this... but still.) She is such a delight every single day.

This month we also purchased our first home. We will hopefully (fingers crossed) be moving in a week. This is one reason for the delay in uploading pictures. Stay tuned for pictures of our new home! :)

3 months of Sleep!

My beautiful baby is 3 months old! I think I may have a slight obsession with her. Paisley is so amazing. Every moment is joy. She does not cry frequently. She is sleeping through the night from 8pm to 6am. If she wakes up its only for a quick diaper change. She is such an awesome daughter. :) She has discovered toys.... but no this does not need we need more. Jon and Stephanie came to visit and brought her Sophie the giraffe. She really likes her alot! She likes to lay on her mat and is starting to grab the toys and kick at them. She is about half way to rolling over... not sure if we are quite ready for this just yet. She has such strong legs! She scoots herself in a 360 using her head as the pivot point. She has a lovely very noticeable bald spot on the back of her head. She loves to people watch. She just wants someone to stare at all the time. I love that she seems to recognize Matt and I. Its such an amazing feeling when she cracks a smile when I go to pick her up at our sitters. This month was also the first time we spent a night apart... and we spent two apart. It was harder than I thought it would be but I just looked at her pictures constantly. But thats it for us and our beautiful happy healthy baby girl. Enjoy her 3 month pictures :)
